A Moving Story

Flopper has finally moved out of Kelley's room. He now has a pen next to Sam & Rosie, and is allowed out to roam around during the day, while S&R are in their cage. S&R get their turn in the evening.

Sam was not amused. He went over to Floppers pen. Their noses met through the wires. Sam tried to bite Flopper. Flopper turned around and Sam took a big hunk of fur out of him. Dumb move, Flop. Don't ever turn your back on Sam! For a rabbit, turning your butt toward another rabbit is the equivalent of giving them the finger.

I realized it was time to get the water spray bottle. Very quickly Sam returned to try to bite Flopper again and show him whose boss. As soon as he bit I thoroughly soaked his face. He jumped back, growled, and ran off to wash his face. Score! Sam had a good face washing three more times until he decided to back off.

Next it was Flopper's turn to display dominance. Sam was back in his pen and Flopper went over to check him out. Sam tried to bite him and got another squirt. Flopper urinated by their pen and dropped really stinky poops. This has happened mutiple times and I am getting tired of cleaning the carpet. So now when Flop is out I barracade S&R's pen, and vice-versa.

I will be so glad when they're bonded!

Here is Flopper flopping in his new home.
